What does the Jacob G. Zuma Foundation do?
The Foundation supports disadvantaged and rural communities. Our work covers community development, skills and capacity development, rural development, poverty alleviation, access to Government services and development partnerships.
Which communities does the Foundation serve?
Our focus is on poor and rural communities across South Africa. Priorities are set with community members and local stakeholders so that support reaches the households that need it most.
How can my organisation partner with the Foundation?

Can individuals support the Foundation?
Yes. Individuals support the work through donations, volunteering, in kind contributions and attendance at fundraising events such as the Re-Launch Gala Dinner.
How do I book a table for the Gala Dinner on 4 September 2026?

How does the Foundation account for funds received?
The Foundation operates under a Board of Directors and applies the Batho Pele principles of openness and transparency. Donor funds are allocated to agreed programmes and reported to partners.
Does the Foundation offer bursaries or job placements?
The Foundation supports skills and capacity development initiatives through partners. Opportunities are announced on the Events page as they become available.
